Cameras roll on Farpoint Films’ paranormal series Ghosts Off Grid

Winnipeg-based production company Farpoint Films has kicked off production on its newest series, Ghosts Off Grid.

The 14 x 60-minute series is filming in Manitoba, across western Canada and in the U.S., with production wrapping in early 2024, according to a release.

Ghosts Off Grid is produced by Chris Charney and Scott Leary, and executive produced by Kyle Bornais. It will follow YouTube duo Johnny Wiebe and Jordyn Penner, known to their viewers as the Paranormies, as they investigate paranormal activity in the outdoors. There are no writers and directors announced as of press time, but Wiebe and Penner plan to helm a some episodes, as well as appear on screen.
