Tyler Asher

Always having an interest in visual media, Tyler found his passion for film in high school creating video projects and short films for both classes and for fun. He would go on to attend Red River College to hone his skills, where he expanded his knowledge on editing as well as visual effects and obtained a certificate with honours in Digital Media Design. He would further his education at the University of Winnipeg's film program and graduate with his Bachelor's degree in 2023.
Tyler started working for Farpoint Films in 2020, working on Ice Vikings as an assistant editor. He then moved onto Refuge 31's show Almost Unsolved where he made his editing debut, while also creating graphics for the show. He would continue editing and creating graphics for more shows for both Farpoint Films and Refuge 31, which included Death of The Party, Ancient Bodies: Secrets Revealed, and Almost Unsolved: Heists.
Tyler recently bought a house in Winnipeg and lives with his long time partner and two cats. In his free time he enjoys playing a variety of video games, building and painting miniatures, Magic: The Gathering, and playing rugby. Tyler also continues to learn new skills when he can. He has recently begun composing music which will be used in Almost Unsolved: Heists. He also hopes to learn how to use the Unreal Engine 5 program in the future.
