Thomas Hanan

Post Production Assistant

As a young child, Thomas Hanan (he/they) dreamt of working at Blockbuster, and since that didn’t work out, Film and Television seems like the natural next step. Graduating from UWinnipeg’s Film program in 2019, he spent his time there focusing on editing in every aspect of the program. As a final project, he co-directed/edited “Not You” which won Best Anti-Racism Short at the Facinasian Film Festival in 2021. As a freelance editor, he has edited music videos/performances for local music and drag artists, such as Carlo Capobianco, Ruby Chopstix, Dirt, and himself (Jolean Groundbeef).

A more recent addition to the Farpoint Films office, he has already had the opportunity to assist on many shows, such as Finding Diamonds, One Way Mirror, Ghosts Off Grid, An Hour to Kill and others. He is looking forward to continuing to learn new skills to apply to his craft as he moves forward in his career.
