One Way Mirror uses actual interrogation footage released by courts after a guilty verdict has been reached, as the backbone of telling each story.
We will see the best, most telling parts of the investigation, including when the criminals begin to crack and when the investigators close in on their case.
Our crime experts will screen and analyze the interrogation and help the audience understand these interrogation techniques. This analysis will take the audience into the killer's mindset in this high pressure situation. What will they say to get out of this situation?

Episode 101 – “Sherri Papini”
Synopsis: Sherri Papini has mysteriously vanished, and police turn to her husband for answers. When she appears on the side of a California turnpike with her hair chopped off and several minor injuries everyone is relieved she was able to get away from her captors. However, the more details she gives, the more suspicious the whole event appears.
Episode 102 – “Grant Amato”
Synopsis: A man and his parents are found murdered in their own home, and his brother, Grant, is brought in for questioning. As Grant’s recent troubles are laid on the table, he’s confronted with the weight of how it all points to motive.
Episode 103 – “Daniel Clay”
Synopsis: After Chelsea Bruck goes missing from an outdoor Halloween party, friends and family are devastated when her remains are found over 6-months later. An exhaustive search of party goers lead authorities to Daniel Clay, a serial offender who with a history of assault. By cozying up to Clay, interrogators slowly unravel the events of the evening, and just how deplorable one man can be.
Episode 104 – “Michael Olson”
Synopsis: Michael believes he’s being questioned about his involvement in a burglary, but the stakes are higher than he knows. A woman’s been found murdered in her storage locker, and Michael is the prime suspect.
Episode 105 – “Daniel Bartelt”
Synopsis: When 19-year-old Jessie Blodgett is found strangled in her, authorities scramble to find the chief subject. They land on one-time boyfriend Daniel Bartelt. Seemingly someone with everything going for him, his demeanour wavers when evidence is brought up of another incident that he fits the description of, putting Bartelt, and his veneer of perfection, into the hot seat.
Episode 106 – “Brendt Allen Christensen”
Synopsis: When a foreign woman goes missing while in America for a year of research, the hunt for the responsible party is considered top priority. Brendt is suspected of being the last person to have seen her alive, and as such, he may be the investigation’s only hope for answers.
Episode 107 – “David Randall Wright”
Synopsis: An execution style shooting outside a local restaurant leaves Raul Cuadros dead. Closed-circuit camera footage lead to known felon David Randall Wright. Wright, a whip-smart career criminal leads interrogators down a winding path as they hope to uncover what really happened between him and Cuadros, leaving police to wonder, whose interrogating who?

Synopsis: Rebecca calls the police when she finds her husband dead in their own living room. When the police begin to suspect that this widow could be a suspect, they must find a balance between pushing for the truth and potentially accusing an innocent woman struggling with grief.
Episode 109 – “Chris Adam Waide”
Synopsis: When Lea Porter stops communicating with family members, they discover that she’s found herself in a jam, and connected with Chris Adam Waide, a smooth-talking student ambassador at a local college. With Lea missing police bring in Waide, who’s polished portrayal of himself tarnishes the more he keeps talking.

Synopsis: Angela has already confessed to the murder of her neighbor before she’s even made it to the interrogation room. As the police start to question her, it’s not a matter of what she’s done, but what has pushed her so far as to see this as her only option.

Synopsis: Security Camera footage gives police a different point of view than the one Lee Rodarte Jr. is presenting after 21-year-old Savannah Gold goes missing. Interrogators must navigate restaurant romance while trying to find out exactly what happened between the young waitress and her manager Rodarte Jr.

Synopsis: A woman is reporting missing while visiting her boyfriend, Robert, in New Mexico. As Robert begins to explain the events that led to her disappearance, holes in his story bring the whole event into question.
Episode 113 – “James Lally”
Synopsis: James Lally readily admits that he has killed his partner Suzanne LaPierre. But it will take more that confession for police to locate her body, leading authorities to a long interrogation with an unsettled character who seems more concerned with his own comfort, that the dignity of his late partner.
Episode 114 – “Ashley McArthur”
Synopsis: A messy divorce leads to a woman hiding a large sum of money with one of her close friends. When the woman goes missing, her friend, Ashley, is believed to be involved in more than just attempted fraud.
Episode 115 – “Jeffray Scullin Jr.”
Synopsis: After Melinda Pleskovic is discovered dead in her home just days before her daughter’s wedding police turn to her future son-in-law when his story doesn’t seem to add up. But he has news of his own, a series of break-ins at the Pleskovic home may reveal the culprit, and it does, it’s just far closer to home than anyone would have imagined.
Episode 116 – “Samantha Wohlford”
Synopsis: A home invasion leaves Samantha tied up while her husband is kidnapped and murdered. As Samatha explains what happened to her, it turns out that there may be more to this crime than there seems.
Episode 117 – “Skylar Nemetz”
Synopsis: Professional soldier Skylar Nemetz claim’s he had a momentary lapse in gun safety that leads to his 19-year-old wife Danielle’s tragic death. But authorities aren’t buying that someone with his level of training could accidentally forget to do some basic gun care, leading to an intense interrogation involving his identity and skills as a soldier.
Episode 118 – “Gregg Mathu & Douglass Detrie”
Synopsis: A new mother is found murdered soon after she’s reported missing. Her partner and his best friend are brought in to be interrogated about her final night. But not every interrogation method works with every suspect, and not every theory proves true.
Episode 119 – “Donald Hartung”
Synopsis: When Donald Hartung learns of his mother and brother’s deaths, his reaction is flat, leading authorities to refuse to accept that he wasn’t already aware of their murder. While they wait for forensics to come in, interrogators struggle to break through Hartung’s stoic facade and come dangerously close to violating his rights by bringing his faith into question.
Episode 120 – “Stephen Mark McDaniel”
Synopsis: Stephen is questioned after he speaks to various news outlets about the search for a woman missing from his building. But when Stephen appears to shut down completely, the challenge moves from looking for a confession to trying to get him to speak at all.
Episode 121 – “Jeffrey Pelo”
Sergeant Jeffray Pelo is brought in for questioning after he was identified prowling outside a young women’s house in the middle of the night. Adamant he’s done nothing wrong, interrogators walk a tight rope questioning one of their own, who knows all too well the kind of tricks authorities play to get a confession.
Episode 122 – “Nick Nehring”
Synopsis: A confession to a lesser crime is still a false confession. When Nick Nehring admits to gunning down a man, claims of self-defense set him up for a shorter sentence. Getting the true story could means the difference of years in how long this man is taken off the street.
Episode 123 – “Henry Martin Steiger & Julian Mesure”
Synopsis: Young mother Cassandra Robinson hasn’t been seen in weeks and her family and friends are getting worried. With a one-year-baby at home, it is uncharacteristic of her to leave for so long. Authorities check in with her partner, entrepreneur Henry Martin Steiger, but he tells them the same thing he’s been telling everybody, Cassandra is on vacation. Police then turn to Julian Mesure, Steiger’s right hand man, who is confident that Steiger is innocent. Coloured by other witnesses, police are able to put together a different narrative, and confront Mesure a 2nd time… but is it enough to get him to turn on his boss?
Episode 124 - “Bruce Nixon & Michael Jackson”
Synopsis: A husband and wife are buried alive after being robbed. Evidence points to a group that includes Bruce and Michael as being involved. Even in the same investigation, the methods of interrogation utilized to get different suspects to talk can be a stark contrast.
Episode 125 – Israel Keyes
Synopsis: When Israel Keyes is apprehended in connection to Samantha Koenig’s disappearance, police have no idea that it will lead them to a string of other murders. Despite promising to help authorities solve other missing persons cases and unsolved murders, Keyes is focused on controlling the narrative in the media about how he is portrayed, and the FBI must bite their tongues and suffer through the ramblings of a serial killer if they hope to find out the truth.
Episode 126 - “Lori Isenberg”
Synopsis: Lori calls the police after her husband falls overboard during a boating trip on a lake. What starts as a search and rescue, evolves into something darker, as an investigation reveals there is more to this story. Through multiple interviews the police try to decipher the truth.
