Onalee Ames has been in the film industry for 25 years. She has spent most of her career in front of the camera as an actor on feature films and TV. Upon returning to Winnipeg after living and doing stand up in LA, she started the Onalee Ames Film Studio and has worked with more than 4,000 students to help them find their place in the acting community in film. Onalee continues to work on her screenplays and direct her own films. She began 15 years ago at Farpoint Films as a producer and has returned to work here in many capacities. She is currently head of the casting department. Onalee Ames Film Studio is currently finding talent for all our shows and training casting directors to cast the hundreds of hours of television for Farpoint Films. This year she will release her feature film under the Farpoint umbrella and is looking to continue as a writer/director/actor in Canada.
