Markus Henkel is an award-winning filmmaker whose in-demand talents as cinematographer and editor have taken him all over the world. Originally from Germany, Markus studied film at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts before moving to Canada and working at Farpoint Films. He has shot and edited countless hours of television and most notably was the cinematographer for Ancient Bodies: Secrets Revealed, which appeared globally on National Geographic TV. His feature and short film projects have screened at acclaimed festivals like TIFF, South by Southwest, Slamdance and Hot Docs.
