Craig McGillivray is an accomplished executive in the media industry with a passion for sales and production and the president of Farpoint Distribution.
He launched 10Star Media (now merged with Farpoint Distribution) in June 2022, a boutique Sales and Production company based in Toronto. Before founding 10Star Media, Craig served as the VP of Distribution at Breakthrough Entertainment where he led the international sales team with a catalogue of over 2500 hours. His experience extends to a similar role at Peacock Alley Entertainment in Toronto and a tenure as a Territory Manager at DHX Media, where he managed program sales for Asia, Australia, Latin America, and Canada.
Craig's television career began at Ironstar Communications in Toronto, a programming sales, and distribution company founded by his father, Derek. This early exposure laid the foundation for his passion for the industry.
With extensive executive-level experience in program sales, Craig possesses a profound understanding of the international media landscape. He has successfully negotiated deals and formed partnerships with major international media outlets, demonstrating his ability to navigate both French and English markets in Canada.
