About
Farpoint Films is an award-winning film, television and digital media production company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We utilize our in-house production and post-production facilities to hand-craft inspiring and creative storytelling.
Land Acknowledgement
The offices of Farpoint Films are located on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Ojibwe-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Red River Métis.
We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of Reconciliation and collaboration.
As a settler to these lands, we acknowledge the significance of working on the traditional land/territory of the Cree, Ininew, Ojibwe, Anishinaabe peoples and that we live in the heart and homeland of the Metis Nation. In acknowledging this, we are committing to honoring the treaties that make it possible for us to work, play, and live on these lands.
