Screenings of the Canadian television series "Ice Vikings" have started in New Zealand and the eight episodes, each lasting about an hour, are expected to be shown in the Nordic countries and elsewhere in Europe next year. Shooting for the second series of eight episodes has just begun, highlighting the work of fishermen for five generations, not least of Icelandic descent, on Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.
