A graduate of the University of Regina Film and Video course, Will moved to Toronto to pursue his goal of producing children’s programming. In 2000 he began work as a Production Assistant for Corus Entertainment’s short-lived series Wee 3 as well as a couple seasons with Uh-Oh!! In 2002 he returned and furthered his career in the made for TV movies Everybody’s Doing It and The Mary Kay Story where he first became involved in clearances. In 2002 he worked on six episodes of The Atwood Stories as Art Department Coordinator and Clearance Coordinator. He continued as a Art Department Coordinator/Clearance Coordinator until present day, working on such shows as The Murdoch Mysteries, The Big White, Niagara Motel, Lucid and Nothing But The Truth.
In the fall of 2003 Will was introduced with Kyle Bornais who also shared the passion for filmmaking. Will worked as the Clearance Coordinator for Farpoint Films Inc. in 2004 for the documentaries Building A Palace In The Prairie and Uncharted Surveyor: The Peter Fidler Story and then again in 2005 for Legacy In Stone and Sierra’s Song and has begun work on Farpoint’s first feature The Rich Guy as Clearance Coordinator/Product Placement.
With a strong passion for children’s programming, Will hopes to one day produce an animation series through Farpoint Films.
